La Farmacia...

Santa Maria Novella is one of the oldest pharmacies in the world, established by the dominican fathers in 1221. In 1612, the grand duke Medici gave the fathers permission to open a store to the public. Since then, their herbal secrets have become internationally renowned. The range is exquisitely packaged and consists of colognes, candles, soaps, creams, oils and the most distinguished product in the ancient range, the pot-pourri.

Bold brow...

If eyes are the window to the soul, then your brows are the window frame. Luckily, the trend for a strong, daring eyebrow is in. A good eye gel and pencil will keep them looking beautifully groomed.

Fashion with a twist...

Belgian artist Francois Cadiere will be collaborating with luxury label Louis Vuitton on a collection of silk, printed scarves. His take on FW 2011 depicts the different ways on how to wear scarves. The artist is renowned for his photography and handmade collages, all treated with a quirky surrealist edge. Enjoy!

One to watch...

I first noticed Michael van der Ham when I saw his SS2011 collection, which was collages of different fabrics and textures combined to make unique and beautiful fashion. This collection was inspired by the great Hollywood costume designer Adrian. His winter collection sees more of the same technique, but with solid colours and luscious velours. Take a look.
