All hail McQueen...

"Alexander McQueen's iconic designs constitute the work of an artist whose medium of expression was fashion. This landmark exhibition continues the Museum’s tradition of celebrating designers who changed the course of history and culture by creating new possibilities," said Thomas Campbell, Director of The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Unfortunately, we can't all fly to New York to view this exhibit but these photos do give a great insight into his brilliance.

Embrace lace...

Having watched the nuptials of Kate and William, it's clear to me she will be setting fashion trends. Lace will be a strong trend, and not just for brides. It feels young, fresh and elegant, especially in white or neutral tones, but black is my favourite. Head-to-toe lace is tricky, but cut well, can look amazing. So for a safer option, you could add lace accessories or add a pop of colour to break up the "lacy-ness". The following images are sure to inspire you!

Pony club...

Beauty alert - according to Vogue, it's the ponytail. It's an easy style that any girl can master any time of the day. It can be girly and sweet, or sleek and modern, I even opted for the pony at a wedding I just attending. Have a look and giddy up girls!!!
