Roaring twenties...
The 20's are back! Baz Luhrmann has remade The Great Gatsby and designers are showing art deco and flapper- fab inspired fashion for SS12. The dress played the starring role in this era, so get your kick on with these gorgeous swinging numbers.

How bazaar...
One of my favourite fashion bibles – American Harpers Bazaar, has had some work done (or redesign as it's known in the mag world). Here's how they put it, "it’s like the party guest who you recognize when she enters the room, but you know she’s had work done — a lot of work". ps. it's Gwyneth Paltrow on the cover and it was shot by Terry Richardson.

Wallflower...
Artist Cecilia Paredes likes to blend into the background. The artist experiments with her own body by painting the floral wallpaper designs on herself - the result is pretty effective. I love florals and would adore them as dresses!

Tangerine dream...
It's official - Pantone has announced the official colour for 2012 and it's "Tango Tangerine". This confirms that the vibrant hue, already a make-up mainstay, has been fully embraced by the world of fashion and design. It's a colour that is stimulating and flattering on a variety of skin-tones, creating an uplifting effect. I hope the following images inspire!
