"My goal was to create shoes that spoke of confidence, strength and a bit of mystery", and I think shoe designer Gio Diev has definitely achieved this. He launched his line in 2010 after stumbling into the fashion industry and learnt everything there is to know about tradition and luxurious shoe making in Italy. I want, I want, I want!

Burlesque star Dita Von Teese will be launching a lingerie line later this year. Knowing her style, it will probably have a retro-glamour feel.

The provocative pop star seems to be everywhere, the latest being a Harpers Bazaar photo shoot.  She has been photographed by the equally controversial Terry Richardson. She manages to look amazing, and always "fashion forward", I can't fault her, even though I want to!

Bling Bling...

These are the worlds most expensive shoes, made from solid gold and encrusted with diamonds. They have been made by London jewellery designer Christopher Michael Shellis. At £140,000 I can dream!

Baby it's cold outside...

Winter has arrived in Melbourne, and its time fur some fun, faux or vintage will do. There are many ways to incorporate this into your wardrobe, my favourite is a vintage coat I purchased with a fur shawl collar. You may choose a coat or chubby, a cute little bootie, or a bomber jacket. Which ever way you go, just remember if you add volume, you need to keep the rest lean and simple. Here's some inspiration!

Cire Trudon have made exquisite candles since the days of Napoleon and Marie Antoinette. It's like having a piece of Versailles in your home - my favourite scent is Spiritus Sancti, and they look amazing as well.
